Clive Aisbitt

Clive started JTC Associates in 1994 following demand for consultancy services by a number of small operators while working for a major player in the European Logistic Industry.  With (then) 12 years’ experience working within the FMCG sector and extensive knowledge of the chemical and retail sectors, he decided to take the plunge into full time consultancy.

Holding the following qualifications:

Lead Assessor for Quality and Environmental Management Systems (ISO 9000 & 14000 respectively);

Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS);

Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DGSA);

First Aid Instructor;

Full ADR certificate;

National and International Certificates of Professional Competence in Road Haulage and Passenger Transport Operations by examination since 1989 and requalification in 2012 in line with Regulation (EC) 1071 /2009.

Clive has the experience and knowledge to assist with most problems and challenges faced by operators within today’s ‘just in time’ culture.

He has also been the named Transport Manager for a number of companies on short term contracts overseeing the transport operation while training the company’s own personnel for the role.

He is a Fellow, Vice President and Past National Chairman of the Institute of Transport Administration (IoTA) and is the current National Treasurer.

He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA)
